Volunteer with MATES PTSO
We welcome volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of students, teachers, and parents. Our organization values the contributions of volunteers in helping us achieve our mission. You can get involved in organizing events, fundraising, and other activities that help improve the educational experience of our students. Become a part of our community!

The PTSO posts volunteer opportunities on Sign Up Genius and sends out messages through Remind, school alerts, Facebook and on this website.

We are currently looking for volunteers for the following...
Committee Members
COMMITTEES - To prepare for the 2025-2026 school year, please consider joining a committee. Please volunteer! It’s fun, you’ll meet other parents and you get to enhance the MATES experience for all students while helping us gather funds for the scholarships, research funding, staff appreciation and more that the PTSO provides each year.

DAY-OF VOLUNTEERING AT EVENTS - When an event is coming up, we also put out a call for day-of volunteers to sign up for slots for that day's activities.
PTSO Board Member Positions
If you are considering taking on this impactful volunteer role and want to learn more, please take some time now to email us at matesptsopres@gmail.com, talk with our current President, Lesley Reid, and join us at our PTSO Meetings to get a feel for the positions and the scope of each role. All four current board members have students who will graduate this spring and we would be happy to prepare, share and assist with potential future board members.
